Smithsonian Magazine Holds 7th Annual Free Photo Contest With Cash Prizes

Smithsonian magazine’s seventh annual free photo contest allows the magazine and its readers the chance to see the world through your unique lens. Photography contestants may enter photographs in five categories; The Natural World, Americana, Altered Images, Travel and People. Each represents subjects of special interest to the magazine. Category winners will be award a $500 cash prize. The readers’ choice winner will also be awarded a $500 cash prize. The grand prize winner will receive a four-day, three-night Smithsonian JourneysGrand Canyon Weekend Adventure for two, or the wholesale cash equivalent. Smithsonian is a well repsected name.
