Little Travellers Gets Creative To Raise Awareness

“Little Travellers” are made by women affected with HIV/AIDS. Made in the shape of people, these tiny dolls are sold for $5 a piece with 100% of that money going to support HIV/AIDS programs in South Africa. The Little Travellers HIV/AIDS Initiative is done in partnership with the Hillcrest AIDS Centre, whose services include medical care, education and awareness, emergency food parcels, long term agricultural development and income-generation programs. Much like Flat Stanley, the Little Travellers’ photo contest asks you to take a picture of your Little Traveller as you travel. Take a picture of your Little Traveller on the Zamboni when you get the chance to ride one. Or hold it in front of Joe Celebrity when you run into him in the bathroom. Prizes are offered to the winners. Before you can enter, however, you need to buy a Little Traveller. Your $5 purchase will help to bring hope into the world and you can have some fun. This one is a no-brainer.
